REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

62nd Republic day of India was celebrated with patriotic fervour in the campus of KIIT university. Students of various wings of the university gathered to display parade, tableau and cultural programme, reflecting the feeling of patriotism among students. Dr. A. Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS and Dr. Hari Gautam, Chancellor of KIIT university inspected the parade.

KiiT International School participated in all the three segments – cultural, tableau and parade. While our tableau, portraying ‘One World’, and parade were appreciated by all, we won the second prize in dance segment.Three students of our school were felicitated on this occasion for their excellent performance in different fields - Parash Mohapatra of grade 10 for winning a bronze medal in the Kumite category of World Shotokai Championship- 2010 held in Scotland , Hitasha Anand of grade 11 for her excellent performance in CBSE board exam in the year 2010 and H.Karubaki Utkalika of grade 6 for holding third position in ‘All India Short Story Competition’ organized by our school this year.
