The 5th of September 2017 was a milestone in the history of KiiT International School (Bhubaneswar). With an achievement par excellence, the school celebrated the victory of their student Vriti Vankani from Grade 11 (Humanities stream) as one of the top winners of the 5th Korea-India Friendship Essay Writing Competition.

Over 20,000 students participated from every state and union territory of India, and Vriti from KiiT-IS earned the second prize, winning a free week-long trip to South Korea later this month. The winners were felicitated by the acting Ambassador of South Korea and the Director of the Korean Embassy at the Korean Cultural Centre in New Delhi on the occasion of Teachers' Day.
